Each spool of thread is made of 100% wool.  The thread is wound on a wooden spool with approximately 87 yds (80 m).  
 
Perfect for embroidery, wool appliqué, darning, hand quilting, and mending.  Because each thread is made from 100% wool, and spun in a single ply, it can break easier than other types of thread.  However, since it is made of 100% wool, it can be spit spliced back together!!!
