Billie Holiday (Lady Day) was a famous dog lover and had several canine companions through the course of her life. Her most beloved was certainly Mister. Likely a boxer breed, he would wait for her backstage when she performed and help keep fans at a comfortable distance. She feed him plates of steak and took him everywhere. Truly soulmates.
