Service Description

Learn the basics of knitting: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, reading a pattern, binding off, how to determine gauge, knitting in the round, etc. This is designed to be a four week course. Weeks 1 - 3 we will be working with swatches. Week 4 we will begin a simple pattern using all of the skills learned in previous weeks. Each class will be 1.5 hours in length, ensuring that there is sufficient time to learn each skill and practice with guidance. Week 1: Learning to Cast On and Knit Stitch Week 2: Learning to Purl, Stockinette Stitch Week 3: Binding off, Determining Gauge, and Reading Pattern (homework will be given for next class) Week 4: Beginning Pattern Project!!! Each class is $25.
